Really? I highly doubt he believes that America won the entire war by itself. We did not, and no school teaches that unless the teacher outright ignores the curriculum.

I was referring to the belief that US played the greatest role in WWII of all Allies, not to this extreme version.

Evolution isn't a religious belief. In fact, the only way to make that sound like it's true. "Evolution isn't proven .: Is a religion" is just an insult to actual religions (because you make it sound like religions rely on being unproven), about as much so as Young Earth Creationism is an insult to actual scientific theories.


I say this a well-known Christian poster. I may have my own points of incredulity with the theory of evolution (as the origin of life) but I'm not going to stoop to belittling it as a valid scientific theory. Just as I don't belittle YEC as a religious belief, silly to me perhaps, but then I find non-theistic evolution silly.

As an outsider to the Western education system, field trips aren't really a sign of that. My Catholic school in India never went on field trips but it was a rich school. They focused more on maths and sciences.

There's no point pretending there's a controversy in the science - there isn't.

And there's no point pretending that religion is science, just so you can teach it in science class. It's not.
