My Grandpa.

Postby Stalinst Britain » Fri Jul 13, 2012 6:37 pm

Although my grandpa is doing alot better then a few weeks ago when he had a stroke I still don't think he isn't live much longer. He can't do much anymore, he used to work for my dad's resturant until he got too old. Now he can't really do much anymore. I still visit him nearly everyday though. He's at a nursing home, but he isn't coming home. :(

I feel sympathy toward your grandfather your family and I'm glad that you're visiting him regularly.

I'm just not sure why I needed to know this.

There'll be another star in the sky... well... I meant... there won't... but there's a fuck of a lot of stars already, so who can be sure?

That's unfortunate.

But what is the point of this thread?

While you have my sincerest apologies and I wish for the best, this is considered a "blog" post, which isn't allowed on the forums.

Sorry to hear about what you ae going through and the realization of the impending loss of your grandfather.
But this thread will probably be locked soon. Yes, NSG is for discussion of anything, but more in a debate style format. Not so much a personal confession kind of thing. Don't be surprised if some give snide or callous responses, it's kind of "our way" here.
Again, sorry you are feeling bad. I was at a funeral today myself. Death sucks.

Or you could change your OP to something more discussable like "How do You Cope With the Aging of a Family Member?"
