What is your opinion of them? Many people like them. Many hate them. What do you think about them, Generalites?

I love them everywhere except screaming in my ear on an airplane. However, since that is not something they can control and in face signals that they are in pain and distress, I man up and deal with it.

Personally, I feel that they are simply people. Not good, or bad, just people - as they should be. Every time I see a child I can't help myself - I wonder what they'll look like in twenty years and what they'll be doing. Or if they'll be doing anything, which they won't if they turn into the next generation of layabouts or end up dead.

Until then, they're out-of-control offspring in my local supermarket who scream for overpriced, blue, sugar water in non-recyclable bottles shaped like the characters from whatever cinematic atrocity is currently being stuffed down their gaping throats by the media powers that be.

Which brings me to how I feel about people in general. I hate them. Whenever I am forced to mingle with the rest of you, I feel a crushing sense of....suffocation....and despair. The older I get, the less tolerance I have for the presence of everybody else. They're everywhere, bumbling thoughtlessly through life and getting on my nerves, as inescapable as summer mosquitoes....armies of nitwits, nattering on about their botox and their children and breathing up all of my air.

Stating where babies come from is not stating my opinion, which has already been said. Also, if you hate all of us, why are you posting on a forum full of lots and lots of people? Seems illogical.

Well, I have a baby of my own, and I like him thus far, and he's been far more pleasant than expected, so yeah, I like babies. Maybe all the lovey dovey crap in the OP didn't make that clear enough

At this point, since I haven't manufactured one of my own, I get to make opinions from a distance. I think the early stage of their lives, when bodily fluids ooze/are ejected involuntarily from their bodies is disgusting, but manageable. Then they grow into the stage where they start learning things and can communicate with me on a basic level.

Then they age enough to be thrusted into the hands of the public education system and are summarily brainwashed. Or something.
