Wow are you serious? I had to spend an extra year in high school and I still haven't passed algebra 2.

Yeah, they tend to be idiots about this kind of stuff. They usually just put you into Geometry or Algebra II so that they don't have to deal with you until later, but they forget that they'll have to deal with you sgain in senior year after they've fucked everything up for you.

Yeah, schools are very biased about their football teams. My schools just decided to use school money to build a THIRD weight room while some of our clubs and classes barely have enough funds to support themselves.

My Junior High mascot was a trojan.... which caused no end of ammusement in our marching band when marching in parades in the rain in our transparent hooded rain gear with the large "Plaza Junior High School Marching Trojans" banner before us.

Except what we do in English is not reading comprehension. We used to do reading comprehension, it's entirely different and dies off once one enters secondary school. I believe this may be being fixed... education here requires inside knowledge to understand.

1. Falsely diagnosed me with some sort of mental disease, and then when I pass their "goals for the end of the year" for me instantly, they ignore it and continue teaching me things I already know. Glorious, really.
2. My middle school taught that blood without oxygen is blue and that the tongue is divided into areas of tastes or whatever. (My middle school also did the above. I really did hate them!)
3. Allow me to go from an F to an A an entire grading period past when I had the F.

My computing teacher sent this student who was one of the nicest students I ever met for 'bad behaviour' she sent another student out who was good with computers but because he behaved badly in one of her other lessons before, she banned him, simply because of a grudge.
She gives us stuff that we don't know and expects us to know it. She confused me with another Chinese student in the same class, even though we wear different clothes, sit at opposite ends of the class room and he wears glasses. She also confused two Pakistanis students, again one wears glasses and both wear different clothes to one another and sit on opposite sides of the classroom. And one of the students just stood up to her and she later called his parents saying he was a ringleader of a five man band against her.
Oh and since our exams our over, the student who was punished for 'bad behaviour' wasn't even entered for the exam yet she stayed there learning until the end of term and I think she has either an X or an U (ungraded).

wow! the computer teachers at my middle school were some of the nicest teachers in the school and new who everyone was

I remember once, our Geography teacher asked us to write down "What we thought it meant to be British" and then told us what to write. He also did a subject about Adolf Hitler later in the year and got incredibly angry, in a really big and ranty rage (How ironic) even though it was he who had started and bought up the subject. Our school treated itself like a business institution (Which I found incredible annoying and it made Secondary School even more boring than it had to be) they subjected us to spreadsheets and statistics about the school's success (Why would this interest people who are forced to attend?) and they put that success before the welfare of their students. For example - They'd make a point of covering up bullying so they'd look good to inspectors and then continue to do nothing about it because it would make them look bad (I swear the Headmaster was an ex-businessman - I really didn't trust him and I really detested his manner, he was always official and thought he was funny and he had no human qualities, He had that sort of con man feel about him and he always seemed to be up to something - He did a assembly once about fixing his fence.)
