Yes. Hollywood is shit at realizing what royal marriage was about. Marriage doesn't require love. Just ask Al Bundy.

Just ask anyone who had to go through an arranged marriage. Lust helps, but if you're willing to compromise and be civil, there's really no reason why a marriage won't work out... even if it means living almost separate lives.

Keeping in mind that 'Hollywoods' idealised noble romances have been a part of oral traditions or written works for several thousand years, I find it a little unfair to lay the blame on Hollywood, tbh.

I'm not laying all the blame on Hollywood, but most people tend to get their ideas from Hollywood movies. *shrugs*

True, though they've taken things a little bit to the extreme end in modern times.
Well, I suppose they did remove the rather common 'Rape' aspect of such romances.

Just to be douchebags to the anal retentive critics, DIsney-Pixar ought to make another film with a Blatantly gay protagonist and a pro-homosexual message.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.
Where is your God-Emperor now?

My thoughts;
1) God, this is stupid.
2) Are there any girl-on-girl scenes?
3) If so, is it playing in a theater near me?

So the new Disney/Pixar character is being perceived as a homosexual by a few American critics because she stands up to her father, refuses to get married and instead of doing stereotypically womanly things, she pursues stereotypically boyish activities from archery and rock-climbing.

Makes perfect sense.

She looks like a teenager, or at least a young girl and normally you don't hear about a young teenager wanting to get married.

as for the boyish activities, have they ever heard of a tomboy? My rock climbing instructor was a woman, and she had a boyfriend, thus (or at least not seem like) not being gay. I tried archery at the Japanese Canadian Culture Centre. The women just so happen to be better than the men. I know one of the participants who's married to a man and has a healthy little girl.

And besides, what's wrong with being homosexual. What have they ever done to you? If it isn't being thrown into your face, you should have to worry about their sexual orientation
