I don't particularly hate on Alabama, I just hate on how the winner from last year is so heavily favored by every poll. It happened with other teams, it just so happens to be Alabama right now.
It's a really simple concept that if you lose this late in the season (especially at home), you're out of luck. Yet for some reason, Alabama is still in the running.
EDIT: The schedule point is to bring up that Alabama is not a god team. They are the best team this year, but they aren't even the best team this decade. I think that Alabama is a beatable team, considering they've, in reality, only played two quality teams so far.

If Tennessee had had a better season, they would be a decent team. So that's 5 teams that were ranked that played Bama this season. Not to mention #8 Michigan. Or is it when these high ranked teams lose so bad to Bama they're considered "mediocre"?

What they were ranked at the time doesn't matter. Holy shit. Arkansas is 4-7, get real. And now for the dumbest quote I've seen all week.
"If Tenessee had had a better season, they would be a decent team."
What does that even mean. I guess I can say if Illinois had a better season, they would be a decent team, so let's put them in the championship. Alabama gets credit for beating LSU, and MSU is decent. LSU is NOT an elite team either, mind you.
Alabama is probably the best team, but don't try and tell me they have the toughest schedule. Oregon's, by the time it's all over, will have played a schedule much tougher, and theirs isn't great.

Did I even say the had the toughest schedule? No.
I'm just going to leave this thread, won't post here anymore. You DFs piss me off too much.

Oh no, someone has a different opinion than you on a debate forum. Bye.
By the way, calling someone a dumbfuck is actually flaming.

That's not what that DF means....but okay.
DF means "Dear Friends". Which I used in this case. In no way was I trying to call anyone a dumbfuck. Should've pointed that out, sorry.
Bullshit. You edited my quotation of you to include two commas. Your original post had no commas. Think of a better lie next time.

That isn't the point. The point is when I meant "DF", I meant "Dear Friends".
I'm seriously thinking of leaving this forum, because of the way I'm treated here.

The Vols haven't given up that high a scoring average over the course of a full season since allowing 42.7 per game while playing a six-game schedule in 1893. Tennessee hasn't allowed that many yards per game over a full season since at least 1950, the earliest year Tennessee measures that statistic in its media guide.
The Vols have yielded at least 38 points in five straight games. [...] Sunseri took over as Tennessee's defensive coordinator this season and switched the Vols to a 3-4 scheme, though they have used more four-man fronts lately. Tennessee ranked 28th nationally in total defense (340.5) and 36th in scoring defense (22.6) last season under former coordinator Justin Wilcox, who left for the same position at Washington. The Vols currently rank 112th in total defense and 107th in scoring defense."
The last time Tennessee was this bad, we were running the single-wing and General Neyland had just retired. 1954 Vols, Harvey Robinson, 4-6 (1-5 SEC). (Oh yeah, that's right, we actually won an SEC game and beat Vandy that year...) Before you say 1977 or 2008 was worse: 1977 was Majors' first year, and in 2008 we still had Fulmer, John Chavis, and Eric Berry and we won three SEC games.
