I have no idea why Alabama is getting so much respect from the computers. Other than Michigan they ahven't played anybody that has a winning record; while Florida has beaten 2 top ten teams (and is rightfully #1 in the computer); K-State's beaten two top-25 teams on the road and Oregon's beaten 3 ranked teams this year.

Well Ole Miss is 4-3 and WKU is 5-2, if that counts for something. Mizzou, Arkansas, and Tennessee would all have .500 records if it wasn't for their losses to Bama.
And no, Oregon hasn't beaten 3 ranked teams this year. Washington and Arizona were ranked at a time, but aren't anymore. Who's the third team? Wazzu and ASU were never ranked.

Arizona State were ranked at one point, and before Thursday night's game had the 3rd best scoring defense in the Pac-12. I should have said for Alabama: GOOD +.500 teams. Miss and WKU aren't good teams by any measure. Florida, Oregon and K-State have had a tougher schedule by far than 'Bama, as well as: South Carolina, LSU, Texas Tech, West Virginia, Baylor, Stanford...

That's what they all say.
It's because Alabama is the only team in the country who has an existing defense. It;s the other teams' fault for giving up 60 point every game, whether they win or not.

So who have Alabama played so far this year???
Michigan- 3rd/4th best team in Big Ten
W. Kentucky- 3rd best team in Sun Belt
Arkansas- 5-7 team at best
Florida Atlantic- 7th best team in Sun Belt
Missouri- 4-8 team at best
Tennessee- 6-6 team at best.
Florida:
Bowling Green: 6th best MAC team
Texas A&M: 8-4 team at best
Tenneessee: 6-6 team at best
Kentucky: 4-8 team at best
LSU: 10-2 or 11-1 team at best
Vandy: 4-8 team at best
S. Carolina 9-3 or 10-2 team at best.
Bama's best win so far is against the 3rd best team in a down conference, while Florida's beaten 2 top 10 tens and plays a 3rd this weekend. Yes, Alabama's back-half of the schedule is tough and Florida's isn't. But so far.. Gators >>> Tide. And that's not counting that K-State's better schedule than Bama, and Oregon's is just a good and Notre Dame's is better as well.

#5 Notre Dame @ #8 Oklahoma
#14 Texas Tech @ #3 Kansas State
#11 Mississippi State @ #1 Alabama
#2 Florida v. #10 Georgia @ Jacksonville, FL
Texas Tech and K-State I think will be the best.
But here's the big question.. IF Notre Dame, Florida, Alabama and K-State all lose what will the BCS top 5 look like?
Here is my projection, IF that happens:#1- Oregon
#2- Oklahoma
#3- Alabama
#4- Mississippi State
#5- Oregon State

Why does every say that Pississippi State is going to beat Alabama? Especially in BDS? As long as Notre Shame, Florida, K-State lose, they guarantee Alabama the national title.

I said a big IF. I see 'Bama winning 41-13 or so. (then they'll lose to LSU next weekend.. mooting the entire debate)

Well, that all but assures that if Alabama wins tonight and next week.. they'll be playing for the national title.
