Right. Notre Dame doesn't exist in your polls despite being undefeated and ranked #1, and I'm the one in denial.

Right...

In other news, the Aggies are up on the Sooners in the first quarter of the Cotton Bowl, but only by 4 points. Still kinda surprising considering how Oklahoma's defense has operated all year. It seems to be a recurring theme throughout this bowl season, leading me to wonder if a month off between championships and bowl games leads to screwy results.

Great, so I guess I win this argument if that's all you have to respond with. It's not all your fault though, considering the education in much of the south.

Yeah, let's not flamebait. I know trash talking is a norm in football discussions, but seriously now, let's just not.

To be fair the poll ended awhile ago. I mean WVU is on there, so you know it's old.

On the other hand, glad to see Torisakia is running to the mods despite the fact that we've let him get away with like 3 blatant flames. :palm:

I really hope he doesn't. I think his offense is really exciting to watch, and I don't know who could fill his void if he leaves.

I'm not sure his offense would work in the NFL either. I question whether the defenses might be too fast for it to be successful.

And the teams listed in the poll I got from the teams who were to be the Top 10 in NCAA Football 13. This was before the Preseason polls were released. To be honest, I didn't even Notre Dame was ranked back in the preseason.

The bolded part is why I didn't report you. I probably should have though, because it became a regular thing for like 2 weeks.

But I'd be lying if I said I lost my cool when I baited you. It was a calculated decision based off being annoyed by nearly every post for about 7 weeks.

Of course, none of this is relevant to the discussion. So take it to TG if you feel a need to respond to this.

I assume TAMU beat Chokelahoma. So that make the SEC 4-3 in bowl games this season. Ole Miss plays tomorrow I believe, and Pitt doesn't seem to be too hard even for them. The best the SEC can go is 8-3.

Yeah, funny how that works out.

And you know, a truly neutral party would be willing to scrap the old outdated and meaningless poll in favor of a new one reflecting the current situation and get true results in that fashion...yeah I'll leave it there.

...still want that hating-to-cash converting machine some SEC teams apparently have however. Then I'll finally haven an impetus to get a twitter account.

Okay, I changed the poll, Notre dame is up there. Will you stop moaning and complaining about it? You're like damn Eli Manning after he got drafted.

Back on-topic, The BBVA Compass Bowl is today, right?

The SEC would really be looking bad if it wasn't for the addition of A&M. Well in a way they'd be looking better since their representative in the championship would be undefeated. But their bowl record would take a hit with them gone.

BBVA Bowl? Who cares. FCS Championship is today. I like Sam Houston to win, but I hope North Dakota St. wins.

Aren't you an SEC fan? The conference who created the most boring BCS championship of all time?

Some scores from the FCS tournament this year.
45-42
38-37
31-20
51-35
49-35
63-35
58-10

The lowest scoring game was 14-7.

And by looking at those FCS tournament scores, those teams need to learn to play defense. Jesus, even Auburn doesn't give up that many points.

The amount of championships has nothing to do with the fact that you just said the FCS is boring, low scoring football. It shouldn't be that hard to see why I brought up the fact that the last BCS championship was boring.

And I just showed you the high scoring games. There are about the same amount of 28-20 games and other scores in that range.

So is the FCS too high scoring, too low scoring, neither? You're all over the map here.

20-13 after stupidly thinking that Pitt (stains) would win a bowl game.

As for the "true Championship" (as the NCAA doesn't sponsor the BCS championship..., hence the FCS champion is technically the NCAA champion...)
ND State looked pretty damn good.
