So far so good, if the Saints stink in preseason, it usually means a long win streak in the regular season,

In the last 5 years, The Jags are the only team in the NFL that actually makes the Browns looks compentent. The sooner they move to LA the better. The fan base has quit on the team, the city isn't going to replace that stadium any time soon and they let Tebow get away, which would have increased attendence and made the team relevant.

Florida just has too many teams, between Tampa and Miami the state's pretty well covered. Meaning that the Jags have to have stellar seasons to make them relevant to people who can easily go see the Bucs or the Dolphins.

Calvin Johnson just racked up 100 yards and a score in about a quarter of action with Detroit's first team. It's unbelievable. Even in a league filled with physical freaks and some of the most gifted athletes in America, he still looks like a man among boys.

Him & Fitz on the same team with any mix of Stafford, Rodgers, Brady, esp. Brees etc. would probably net them close to 6,000 yards passing, if not close to 5,000 every year. Not to mention they would both likely have yearly productions of over 1500yards.

That would be the penultimate Fantasy team lol.

What about the Falcons?

The Falcons are a small on defense and running backs, they have a mediocre quarterback and the consistently loose in the first round of the playoffs. Buccaneers are going to be rebuilding for years and the Saints got seriously messed up by the bounty scandal.

The hit on the Saints is overrated and overstated. They lost two players, one for four games and the other for the season. They replaced Vilma with a better player in Curtis Lofton and Smith is in a position where the Saints actually have a fair bit of depth. The only other major loss is Carl Nicks, and he has been replaced by another excellent player in Ben Grubbs.

If anything, they have a better chance this season to make the Super Bowl because of the "US against them" Mentality. The last time a team had a mentality rivaling this one, they went 18-1 Regular Season & Post Season combined, and set many offensive records (Passing Touchdowns in a season, receiving Touchdowns in a season).

They have Brees back and happy, their offensive line is intact save for the departure of Nicks (Who again, has been replaced by another awesome guard in Grubbs), Colston is back, Graham, who is easily the leagues best Tight End (Gronkowski is overrated. Besides Him, Hernandez and Welker, who does Brady have to throw too? Virtually every offensive player on the roster other than the Linemen and QBs can catch the ball insanely well. Meaning that Brees probably has double the targets to throw too than Brady does), the deepest, most talented backfield in the NFL (Are any single one of them game changing? With the exception of Sproles probably not, but no other team outside of Carolina has the depth and talent they have).

That said, i just noticed that Pittsburgh took Rashard Mendenhall the pick before Tennessee took Chris Johnson.

That broke my damn heart lol.

Yeah, no.

The Saints and Falcons are both obviously better teams, and the Buccaneers are fast catching up with some of their draft picks this year and the beefing up they've been doing on both sides of the ball.

Really, the Bucs are the worst team in the NFC South, but that's kind of like being the backup to Drew Brees at this point—of course you're going to be behind him all the time.

Despite his production getting worse over the last two years (Which is not bad, few guys will ever repeat leading the league in all purpose yards like he did), he still leads the NFL Rushing yards since he entered the league. He has never failed to get 1,000 yards rushing, he gets just as many Rushing Touchdowns as Mendy, and catches far better out of the backfield. (1,426 yards & 4 TDs vs 599 yards and 1 TD)

Last season was the first time in well, forever that we passed nearly 60% of the time. And it is highly unlikely to happen again (Im expecting about 50-50). I'd assume he'd get like 300-320 carries, which means he is probably good for 1400-1600 yards a season, barring injuries. He'd be a damn sight improvement even in his worst season.

EDIT: By that i mean teams plan for him no matter how bad of a season he is having, which they dont really do for Mendenhall.

There's no lakes, clippers, angels, dodgers or kings in LA either, but the I don't see any of them changing their names anytime soon.

My current odds as to the NFL team most likely to move to LA within the next decade:

Jacksonville Jaguars: 4:1 (Worst place to have put an Expansion team in 1996.. Orlando, Portland, Memphis, San Antonio, Batlimore.. need I go on?)
St. Louis Rams: 10:1 (should've never moved to St. Louis.. Fuck you, Georgia Frontiere)
San Diego Chargers 15:1 (they started there)
Oakland Raiders: 15:1 (now that Al's dead this becomes more likely the longer the A's don't get a stadium of their own)
Minnesota Vikings: 30:1 (Yeah they appoved the bill to get the new stadium, but you never know)
Every other team: 100:1
Least likely: Green Bay Packers- Only if Green Bay was wiped off the map by a black hole.

Orlando would likely have had the same issues, Memphis is too close to St. Louis iirc, San Antonio is too small a market. LA has already given up two football teams (Rams & Raiders).

Tbh i cant think of any other place to put a team besides Jacksonville. Most of the other really populace cities in the country already have a team.

Move em to London, god knows Goodell has a hardon for putting a team there (Plus it would likely open up for more players for the Draft by introducing the sport more heavily to the UK. Main issue right now is that there is simply not enough quality players to go around all the time).

EDIT: Only other one i could potentially see was San Jose, which is the only one in the 15 most populous cities to not have a team as of last census iirc.

In other words, conservatives are generous with their own money, and liberals are generous with other peoples money.

The NFL isn't going to put a team in Europe. Besides, the UK has its own pro football league.

No, seriously.
