I can't believe we lost Pollard for 1 mil. We'd better be saving money for the second coming of Jesus Christ.

My thoughts on free agency so far

Denver is AWESOME. They land a top young guard and they stole Tom Brady's slot machine out of nowhere. If they can land a good RB, this will be the best offense Peyton Manning has had since Marvin Harrison hung it up, and with a better defense than Indianapolis ever gave him too.

Dolphins are a bunch of frickin' idiots. They blew $30 million guaranteed on a WR who only knows how to run one pattern, signed an OLB who had one good year, and cut their good MLB so they could overpay for someone no better.

We know Baltimore was going to lose a lot of players, but I didn't think it would be this many. Ozzie Newsome is one of the best GMs in the league, so I think he knows what he is doing, but it doesn't look good for the Ravens right now.

I like where Cleveland is going. Their defense is now looking pretty stout.

Colts have overpaid for three scrubs. Don't get it.

Haven't heard a peep out of the Cowboys yet. Good job, Jerry Jones.

You haven't heard from Jurrah because his Cowards are under a penalty cap.

The only thing that stops Jurrah is Jurrah.

I'm a Redskins fan, and I wish he'd hire a fuckin' GM.

I think a guy on a fan forum I use summed it up perfectly.

Some Blog Post wrote:
Of all the quotes last week coming out of New Orleans, the one that hit home for me came from the Ravens' owner. His name is Steve. Steve Somebody. I could look up his last name, but who cares?

Steve Somebody was asked to explain his ownership success with the Ravens, and the answer was short and to the point:
"I trust in Ozzie."
Bingo.

And if you ask Jerry, he will tell you he trusts in his GM as well. That is the problem.

It is something that I'm torn over. If he dies, the Cowards may get better. Then at least this fucking "America's Team" nonsense may have some meaning. If he keeps living, they'll keep sucking, and my Redskins will have a better chance at the East.

Because they have "Traditional Rivalries". You know... The...uh....rivalries.

Who the hell actually considers them a rival? Everyone in the East just considers them a punching bag.

I have seen literally dozens of flame wars caused by Eagles fans that raid the boards. They seem like they hate us. Of course, Philly fans hate everything, including their own teams. So I am not sure.

Jets (currently).

Historically I've hated the Eagles more. But I gotta say, the current Jets regime just makes me want to hate them for existing.

Detroit is a historical punching bag, but they're not too far from being good. The real punching bag in the NFC North is whoever finished second the year before as that position is a revolving door and the bad draft pick position that comes from finishing second isn't enough to justify wanting to go 11-5 and make a first round exit in the playoffs. As in the best team never finishes second and the other teams will get better draft picks.

It's who ever finished the previous season so last year the Lions were the bag. Now it's Minnesota unless they make significant receiving upgrades in the draft and/or free agency. Second is the worst place a team wants to be as the talent lost by being ten to twenty positions further down the draft often send a team backwards as it's that close in the NFC North between second and last in talent.

These past few days as a Browns fan have been good. And now with the combined possibility of us signing Meyers from the Raiders, I'm even happier.

Quite content with the WR combo we have in Gordon and Little. Our OL is among the best with Thomas, Mack and Schwartz. And this could be the year for the defense.

Only thing I'm a little scared about is the development of Richardson and Weeden. Truthfully, Richardson didn't impress me much last year. Part of that may of been due to a lack of qb support, but I suppose we'll find out this year. If those two play decently, we could actually be looking to a .500 or over record.
