Last season, they only lost one game to the Chiefs, and then they got beat in the playoffs. To the Giants, the current champions, if I'm not mistaken. So I think it's a reasonable bet.

how do you lose to a team where the coach was fired from the Browns!!!

I think you can tell what team I like. As for the 10 teams in the poll, I picked Washington. It's quite possible I've been fooled by the RG3 hype, but I think they can do something this year.

I heard someone mention the Browns and Richardson. I'm not buying into them because I don't like drafting running backs that high. In this day and age it isn't a good investment. They should be hoping to finish in last and get Matt Barkley. Maybe then I'll pick them to compete.

(The bills have not made the playoffs since 1999)

There are Division I colleges with a better chance of making the playoffs than the Colts. :p

If Ryan Fitzpatrick does well, I can see them getting in, I guess.

Hmmm, the Bills kind of had a weird offseason. I have no idea how they landed Mario Williams, but he's definitely going to help. Maybe players are going to start heading to Buffalo.

1) I'm probably the only fan of the Browns
2) The Vikings will be the worst team this year so...

Wins and losses come and go. Sometimes losses bite you at the wrong time.

Because you can't have commercial breaks on every change of possession.

I say this as a fan of just about every brand of football there is.

Minnesota plays Jacksonville in Minnesota week 1 and plays Indy week 2. I think those could both be wins, since Luck will still be getting used to the NFL in week 2. Plus they get the Rams week 17. I bet they could steal a win somewhere else down the line too.

There are real games going on even as we speak, meaningful head to head competition om a sport which is loved by tens of millions of fans.

Yet sports talk radio calls this the "dead season". Why? Because they have contracts for Monday Night football and NBA playoffs and college bowl games, but no big contracts for baseball, that's why.

In cleveland, our sports are so messed up, the radio sports hsot are always taking about football in the summer...

I am so sorry that you have nothing but bum teams to root for

Well at least the Lions have had recent success. And the Tigers aren't too bad. They even went to a WS a few years ago. But yeah, the Pistons are just awful.
