The only reason the Bills are getting any significant attendance this year in RW Stadium is because the NHL is locked out, so the Sabres fans need somewhere to go, get drunk, and watch people slam into each other.

Having gone to this game, and seeing the condition of people entering the stadium (nevermind what happened to them once they got in!), I'm entirely unsurprised.

True, true, but people (by the handful) were staggering into the gates, past the police that might've, on another night, stopped to have a chat with them about public intoxication. It was surreal to me - not that people were well beyond buzzed entering the stadium, but the sheer number of them.

Ugh, I hope the makeup of fans is better at First Niagara Center than it is at the Ralph.
