The weather here was so nice in the morning. And then it turned nasty...

I'm thinking we'll see a lot of fumbles and bungled deep passes. It's pretty damn windy.

For the last time. The Bears nor the Falcons will make the super bowl. Cutler is legit at best but he is not super bowl worthy. Falcons have a terrible history going on right now in the playoffs...

Not this season. Next season, when the Super Bowl is in New Jersey. It'll be the Bears v the Texans, and it'll be snowing heavily, leading to the Bears winning 24-20

Neither of us were right, so shut up.

But i do win on a minor point. You think they are shit, and they tied the arguably best team in the NFC.

I'm officially quitting as a Charger fan. I figure the less emotionally invested with them means I can have a better experience in just watching the game.

In other news, blast. Atlanta had their first loss. I always like to root on flawless teams. I want to see them take their flawlessness all the way.

Pretty good defensive game. if not for the rain, maybe it would've been slightly higher scoring (20-14 or so).

Tebow is really popular in J'ville, why did they pass on trading for him? He's a better overall player than Gabbert.

And Tebow did everything right today, all he was asked to do, and espn sniffed "Tebow failed to win that game".

I stood by Christian Ponder and didn't hate on him the past few weeks (well, I kind of did), but these past few weeks have shown some glaring problems in our offense. I'll list the ones that I noticed:

1) PLAYCALLING! WTF IS MUSGRAVE DOING?! I mean, seriously! Adrian Peterson had over 150 yards of rushing in the FIRST HALF and he barely got the ball after Halftime! We stopped trying to get Percy the ball as much as he did, and frankly it's screwing us over. We need to get the ball to Harvin and Peterson, but keep others in the equation so we aren't as predictable.

2) The last sentence highlights the next problem - we are predictable. We have two superstars on offense in Percy Harvin and Adrian Peterson. If we want to progress as an offense and allow Ponder to develop and continue to play at the level he started out at, we need to get him weapons. I don't mean getting another tight end, because I think Rudolph is pretty great; rather, I believe we need to get a receiver similar to... maybe Megatron or even A.J. Green.

3) The blocking has improved a lot, but it still needs to be fine-tuned. A big problem with Ponder's play is that he's constantly under pressure; likewise, Adrian Peterson is finding gargantuan holes and is getting the blocking that he needs. However, Ponder is getting rushed, forced to make throws on the run, and is getting sacked way more than he should. I love the progression that our line has made, but it still needs improvement.

That's pretty much it. I just have one more thing (to ask)...

ARE THERE ANY ELITE WIDE RECEIVERS COMING INTO THE DRAFT THIS OFFSEASON THAT MIGHT FALL TO THE 10-20 REGION FOR THE DRAFT?

(Extra emphasis because I don't want it to be ignored.)

BTW, thoughts on this analysis of the Vikings' offense?

Re the YELLY PART!- Other than Marquise Lee from USC, the WR crop this year's not that good. And Lee would be a top 5 pick.

See, Cutler is getting a bad rap because he's constantly being hurried and forced into bad throws courtesy of that awful O-line. I keep saying it and I will continue to say it, Webb, Garcia, and Carimi are incapable and inept a vast majority of the time which leads to a lot of bad throws and short runs. Webb should have retired long ago, Garza never should have moved from the corner, and Carimi wasn't worth his high draft number, and last nights concussion on Cutler proved it.

If the Bears' defense had ample time to rest last night, it would have been a better game, no doubt about it. But again, thanks to the non-hackers up front....yeah we've heard this story before, and it will continue to play out until the idiots in the front office figure it out, void those three contracts and start over with capable linesmen.
