Props, though a few eras I see, I think Washington is going to trump the Steelers this week, and wait is Reggie Bush back, I have not kept up with the tabloids recently. If Bush is out of course New York will win, a lot closer than that though. If Bush is in Miami wins hands down. I like your upset of the week, and I think its a good pick especially since Tennessee and Indianpolis are not really good teams, otherwise I would pick that as my upset if the Colts were contendors.

Hasselback is going to win.

So lets see other than the basic get together of games;

Tennessee>Indianapolis
Washington>Pittsburgh
and the possibility of;
Miami>NYJ.

Other than that my picks are pretty much the same.

The Murray Dynasty wrote:Really did you watch the film, I don't see his leg smashing into Cutler's thigh. He looked like he was going to, but he didn't. Now anyways, I would like to see you play his position as successfully as he has. I know he has had a rough past, but think about it 10 sacks in one season, then four in the next, he got SUPER pissed because he was not performing on the same caliber, but after his suspension he did perform better, and played more within the rules. His hit was far from illegal, I guarantee that he is not fined for his hit on Cutler. If it was illegal there would be a HUGE fuss about it today and the Comish would be all over it. Even the former NFL player's that were announcing the game recongize it as a completely legal hit. Now try again with this illegal hit crap, his leg never touched Cutler's thigh, therefore no illegal hit. Its funny that when Detroit does any good people get mad, you don't see anyone complaining about the Steeler's player almost killing the Brown's QB a few years back now do we? No. There are plenty of illegal hits every game, and just because Suh has had a rough first few years does not mean he is in any way shape or form a thug. I don't see a criminal record? Did he get charged with a hit and run, or any other crime for that matter? No. The only criminal on the team was Aarron Berry, and they released him for his crimes, he was even supposed to start this year for the Lion's. The organization does not tolerate convicts, Suh has yet to be convicted, and has even admitted that he is distancing himself from his bad-influences (His sister).
Uh huh...9 personals in 2 years, fastest rate in the NFL ever. And a history of borderline and unsportsmanlike play at Nebraska. He can say all he wants but until he demonstrates, for a year, that he's not a man-child I'll take a dim view otherwise.

And to be fair he's not the only Lions problem child. Nick Fairley has a LONG history of thuggery at Auburn and continuing petulance, especially when it comes to substance abuse charges. Matt Stafford is still a prick and will get low-tackled for his trouble if he keeps it up. Even Pettigrew and Bosch have their moments of dirty play beyond the normal scope of defensive moves. However, all this can bet tracked back to one source: Jim Schwartz. How can anybody expect the Lions to play in a non-borderline way when Shwartz is constantly getting in scuffles and screaming obscenities like the biggest petulant man-child on the entire field? Attitude reflects leadership, and the buck stops right at the coach.

Not disagreeing with the coaching staff on the Lions, they need better leadership, Schwartz was a great coordiantor, but he is a poor HC. (Just look at his draft moves.)

Though I rarely follow college players, if I recall Stafford is generally a pretty good guy. Though if you think about it he lived in Georgia, and there is just a way about some of the Southern folk that seems to make them arrogant. Though I have met some of the nicest people from the south, if they run into money, they become that though. (So does everyone.) Though I like Vanden-Bosch, Johnson, Stafford, Suh, Avril, and in some cases Fairley, I still think the coaching staff is our major problem.

Though, I have to respect Schwartz because he did bring the Lions to the playoffs for the first time since the 90's, but I do not need to respect the franchise moves and poor coaching during critical games. (49ers, Falcons, Saints x2, Packers x2, Chicagox1) All games we should have been in better and at least 3 we should have won. 49er's was a 4th down luck by bad fundamentals, and the Falcons (last year)... The Saints once I understand without Suh, but twice? The pack is really good with their recieving core, and Rodger's only lost to the Giants because he came out of sync when he rode the bench against the Lions. The Packer's on Thanksgiving was so our game, but like everyone knows, penalties. We marched down the field soo many times to get barely past the 50 and just eat it with our own penalties.

They are a good team really. The whole NFC West is right now. Tbh with the AFC North Struggles, i rank the NFC West as the best division in football currently. AFC West and AFC East as the weakest.

Bradford is a good QB, no need to talk about Steven Jackson, Amendola is vastly underrated, Finnegan is one of the best corners in the league. Chris Long? Robert Quinn? I'd kill to have both, or even just one of them in Pittsburgh on our D-line. Laurinitis? Coaching has been the downfall for that Team imho, and Fisher will return them to relevancy by next season.
In other words, conservatives are generous with their own money, and liberals are generous with other peoples money.

Dolphins drown
San Diego loses its charge
Colts win, prove Steelers lack D this year
I loathe the Pats, but they still jam the Rams
Without loudmouth Maurice, there is no joy in Jagtown (hint: Trade for Tebow)
If there is a category for "most overrated good team" it goes to Atlanta. Vick could be the most underrated QB; Eagles soar.
A must-win for my Steelers; I can't bear to watch.
Seahawks mostly win at home; Lions roar
Who will Cam blame this time?
Chiefs may want to impress after shakeup; can I predict a tie?
I despise Jason G, so he must lose.
Peyton who? that aging injured guy? Go Big Easy.
"most underrated so-so quarterback" contest; Smith beats Kolb.
"Life is difficult".

I'm not a JETS fan... but they have to put Tebow as QB now, right? They're 3-5, and are below the BUFFALO BILLS in the AFC East.. what do they have to lose??

But according to Dan Fouts (good player, lousy commentator); you run the risk of "breaking" Sanchez' confidence. He's been the QB for 3 1/2 years now, and its obvious he's not the answer for them. So once again, why not throw Tebow out there?
