Bears and Vikings both... "rolling." But I could not be less worried. Pack combined opponent record? 26-18. Bears? 16-22. I didn't bother looking for Minnesota's, sorry. It's probably between the two. Point is, Packers have been playing MUCH better competition.

And let's not forget that 2 years ago (championship season) the Packers were 4-3 and the Bears were in first place at this point.

All my Bear fan friends can deny the truth they know deep down all they want, but GB is just better. "You are what your record says you are" is malarkey in my opinion, especially this early in the season. Not all records are created equally, and a record can't perform the eye test or tell the stories behind the record, like a botched call in Seattle.

Welp, the Bears won. That wasn't a surprise, the Lions haven't shown up with anything new other than the thuggery. Shame it wasn't a shutout but when the defense has to stay on the field longer, that's what happens.

Still, the thug-tastic attitude of the Lions got old last year and is starting to get highly annoying. Someone should have reminded some of the more loud-mouthed defense and special teams players that getting in the face of any of the Bears players is a very bad idea with enforcers like Peppers and Moore around.
Particulary emblematic of the Lion's thug mentality as perpetuated by Schwartz is Suh. At this point I fail to see how he's nothing other than an overgrown petulant man-child constantly in a temper-tantrum, and if he keeps playing the way he does somebody is going to "accidentally" stomp on his knee and bring his season to a premature end one of these days.
The zebras do have fault in that as well. Clearly Suh pulled a leg whip on Cutler and got away with it.

Suh's tackle was not illegal, complete legal tackle because he did not bring that leg around. I love how everyone thinks Suh is a thug, and that Detriot got stomped in a 13-7 game. The only reason Detriot lost was their offense, that is the Come on man team of the year. Detriot's defense is playing like a playoff D, they are just getting destroyed by their offensive mistakes and inability. There year is pretty much over, but their D will still show up in games throughout the season, it shows a great forward progress for next season. I just hope the Lions are smart enough to pickup a good FB, and maybe another O-lineman and a few more higer round corners this year in the draft. They really need to get the running attack going, like they said last night, Barry Sanders would have rushed for 3,000 yards on this Lion's team, we just need a star back like Foster, Gore or any other relatively decent running back. I am impressed with if we could just run him more, with the trick and motion plays we gashed them for 7-15 yards per carry on the motion with our rookie lineman. Cutler was sacked 5 or 6 times I lost count after 4, and to be honest with Burleson out for the season it will give the Lion's a chance to bring in Broyles who was supposed to be a first round pick before his injury. Detroit took a lot of heat for that pickup, but I think its about time to prove that they did something right other than their lineman in the off-season. It was a 13-0 game until Stafford showed up to make it look like it was a close game, if Detriot didn't flop in the redzone in the second half, it would easily have been 13-9 if not a drastic 21-13, the Offense is what is killing us, and the young dopes on the Special teams are making us even worse. (Sometimes i wonder who is worse though, young or old?) Our kick returner... Enough said.

Last thing on Suh, did you not see him try to go see if Cutler was okay after that monster hit, and not to mention a few plays later, Suh had a HUGE chance to plow Cutler right as he released the ball and he just kind of stopped and tapped him instead? Suh is less dirty than you think, and is protrayed as a thug for his Sophmore frustration stomp on a Packer's lineman. I like how Detriot played against a tough team, and I really look forward to the end of the year results heading into the offseason, and look forward to Detroit finally being a permanant play off team with a good offseason this year.

(With this loss though, I consider their season well over, and they are playing for pride right now.)

Except Barry Sanders is retired.
And Suh did whip the leg, he just got away with it because it was borderline-looking rather than overt, such as, oh I dunno, stomping on opposing players. Nine personal fouls in two years speaks volumes of an impotent man-child who is in the game to hurt people more than anything, and at the rate he's going, he will. And when he does either he's going to earn himself a massive on-field beating. He can feign all the concern and caring that he likes but once a man-child thug, always a man-child thug.

Really did you watch the film, I don't see his leg smashing into Cutler's thigh. He looked like he was going to, but he didn't. Now anyways, I would like to see you play his position as successfully as he has. I know he has had a rough past, but think about it 10 sacks in one season, then four in the next, he got SUPER pissed because he was not performing on the same caliber, but after his suspension he did perform better, and played more within the rules. His hit was far from illegal, I guarantee that he is not fined for his hit on Cutler. If it was illegal there would be a HUGE fuss about it today and the Comish would be all over it. Even the former NFL player's that were announcing the game recongize it as a completely legal hit. Now try again with this illegal hit crap, his leg never touched Cutler's thigh, therefore no illegal hit. Its funny that when Detroit does any good people get mad, you don't see anyone complaining about the Steeler's player almost killing the Brown's QB a few years back now do we? No. There are plenty of illegal hits every game, and just because Suh has had a rough first few years does not mean he is in any way shape or form a thug. I don't see a criminal record? Did he get charged with a hit and run, or any other crime for that matter? No. The only criminal on the team was Aarron Berry, and they released him for his crimes, he was even supposed to start this year for the Lion's. The organization does not tolerate convicts, Suh has yet to be convicted, and has even admitted that he is distancing himself from his bad-influences (His sister).

LOL. How can a backup QB be overrated? ;)

If you just count starters, then Sanchez and Romo being the most overrated sounds about right.
