That's always fun, especially when it's a southern team like the Saints or the Falcons. It's hard to tell who's more uncomfortable, the players or the fans that made the trek to sit in an open stadium and be exposed to this white flaky stuff called snow.Serrland wrote:The Murray Dynasty wrote:Hahaha so excited to see my Lion's beat down Vick in the OT. I'm really looking forward to you lot coming to Soldier Field next weekend. I wish the first game was in Detroit, though, so we'd have a dome team coming to Chicago on 30 December. Should be a cracking game either way.

I think Scott Fujita(shame the Saints let him go, especially these days) hits the nail on the head, not just with regards to himself, but to the Saints as a whole.
Roger Goodell needs to be fired and I think should be considered for a new title: Worst Commissioner Ever.
Personally, I think he was just afraid that the first hometeam-Superbowl could've been in such a small market as New Orleans and set out to destroy any chance of that happening. If it was in Dallas or New York you wouldn't see any of this bullshit.

Well to be fair, big fur hats for both genders are socially acceptable around these parts as well...Serrland wrote:Northern Dominus wrote:That's always fun, especially when it's a southern team like the Saints or the Falcons. I was at a Bears-Packers game a few years back, it must have been either the last or second to last game of the year, with the temperature below zero and the wind chill at something ungodly. Hurray for a socially acceptable reason to be wear my blaze orange coveralls out and about in public!
