Also the fact that there were only two minister (himself included) in the government is a bit odd.

Yeah, dick move, but do you really think that they could've done anything to help countries Stalin already had occupied with military forces?

We in America are still feeling the financial crush of his presidency 70 years later...

Oh noes, repealing Prohibition, promoting banking reform, securities regulations, creating public works programs to provide employment, passed the Fair Labour Standards Act... what a disaster.

What about Fernando Tambroni? Almost started a coalition with MSI, and then sent the police to beat down (and kill) protesters in Genoa?

Or... wait, better question: have post-WW2 Italian PMs generally even lasted long enough to distinguish themselves as "worst"?

Margaret Thatcher. Sine dubio.
Don't be deceived when our Revolution has finally been stamped out and they tell you things are better now even if there's no poverty to see, because the poverty's been hidden...even if you ever got more wages and could afford to buy more of these new and useless goods which these new industries foist on you, and even if it seems to you that "you never had so much" - that is only the slogan of those who have much more than you.

Okay, you're the first person I ever heard to use the term "stagnation". Everything else I've read says Finland grew/developed economically very fast, and it only hit a massive speedbump with the end of the Cold War, from about 1990-1993ish.

Hi there! I'm not in the UK right now, but when I get back to uni y'wanna try meeting up or something? :D

I didn't experience it first-hand though, since I wasn't yet born when the first Mineriad happened. Ceauşescu almost makes Gheorghiu-Dej look sane. And, of course, Antonescu is another obvious choice (Nazi-puppet evil fascist).
