You have Somalia, they're doing fine. China's people are doing fantastic, as is normal. Oh, and the good ole U.S. of A, we have one of the worst systems on a planet. If I remember correctly, CNN did a report on Healthcare, and was told by several experts that the US Healthcare policy was the opposite of how to do things.

Well I see no capitalist systems up there and, in addition, thousands of people come from WESTERN EUROPE for surgery here.

Political correctness is getting out of hand, and I don't think that it should be enforced. Firearms law, IMO, should follow California, if a bit stricter.

1.They represent the interests of the upper class, and so they have greater access to the wallets of the "high and mighty" to push forward their harmful economic liberalism.
2.They draw support from the religious, the uneducated, and some rural citizens, with whom their socially conservative ideas carry weight.
3.They constantly use past tragedies and injustices to scare Americans into supporting imperialistic "defense" tactics.
4.Some educated Americans honestly believe in their policies. I disagree with them, but they have a right to political representation.
5.They use beloved historical figures who were members of the party in their time, but would strongly disagree with their current policies. Specifically, a tall, liberal, Illinois lawyer who believed firmly in the idea of a strong, central government...

All of this, combined with the trouble of the center/right-wing two-party system, lead to the problems in American democracy today. We'd be much better off if the two largest parties were the Socialists and the Libertarians, as opposed to the do-nothing, wishy-washy Democrats and the ham-fisted, authoritarian, lying Republicans. A multi-party system is the only way to produce REAL political representation.

weird how liberals claim to be the true freedom-lovers huh?

that's why despise both party's because there both hypocrites

dems supposed to be freedom lovers who want equality, yet they just seperate people into more groups and try ot make them feel special and take away freedoms

Reps, same thing when it come to social freedoms(minus guns), yet they argue their religous bullshit

The healthcare mandate was a idea created by the Heritage Foundation, and introduced by Republicans as an alternative to the Clinton plan in the 1990s.

It was a Republican idea, and it would not have been added, had the GOP not filibustered and quagmired the law into oblivion. And it's still a good law.

Because for most people in America, the person that talks the loudest must be right. Plus the Republicans are the champions of "family values" and "the good ole days." That same group of people that believes the loudest are correct are the same that blindly accept their parents values and beliefs, and usually the older generation's values line up with those same "family values" and "the good ole days."

And Americans love memes and chain messages/graphs/charts/emails/etc, even if they're incorrect. And, at least from what I see, there are more GOP things being shared on Facebook or whatever than Democrat things.
