With hindsight, some kind of archivist at Kew Gardens. Sadly I didn't know that when I was young enough to make it happen.

My own dream would have been to be a scientist making some huge discovery, in whatever field (physics, biology, computer science, ...). But I know it's just a dream. I'm happy enough as a programmer and Unix (well, Debian GNU/Linux) sys admin, so I don't complain.

It depends how much I like my degree course. Hopefully aim for a PHD and then academic research but I could see myself in a big company instead.

Either would be good.

I've always wanted to become a concept artist for a game studio as im good at art and like using computers so i decided to incorporate them into something i would like. So after doing my gcse's i decided for my a levels to take on IT and Art for two of them and to try and find a university that would offer courses for this style of work after i have completed them. At the moment it's going well, doing my a levels and using maya (a 3D modeling system) in my spare time which is helping but ill probably have to go to scotland or england for a university that would suit me. If that doesnt work out, i suppose i could try a carrer in politics, thats my fallback area.

Something related to society or politics. I can't become a politician because of my fairly radical views.. But maybe a lawyer? Or somehting like that. Working as a high-ranking manager in some huge corporation or as a stockbroker could be fairly interesting too.

I even had this job for two weeks before the company funding the dig decided they'd pull out.

And then I got made redundant.

A video game designer, specifically a lead designer but my current speciality is level design. So far im yet to design anything in 3D yet though, having largely made SCHMUPS.

If all goes well with some investments, in 2 years time I should hopefully have achieved said dream job.
