Something related to society or politics. I can't become a politician because of my fairly radical views.. But maybe a lawyer? Or somehting like that. Working as a high-ranking manager in some huge corporation or as a stockbroker could be fairly interesting too.

I am considering a multitude of options. Listed in order from biggest dream to smallest dream:


Governor of California
Professional race car driver A mere fantasy that I have no chance of achieving
Professional rugby union player ^See above
Entrepreneur (I wish to start my own business)
Corporate leader (enter the workforce, and work my way up through the ranks to become a top guy in a company)
CIA agent (I do not defend the current CIA's actions, and I hope that some changes are made to it before/if i join.
Border Patrol agent (I am fluent in Spanish, so this should be an interest job)


I am half Puerto Rican and fluent in both Spanish and English, and I think that my fluency will help me greatly in all fields. If I run for Governor, speaking Spanish could help me win the Latino vote. Speaking Spanish could attract me a lot more fans if I was a race car driver or rugby player. Speaking Spanish helps a lot in the business world, as Spanish-speakers make up a large amount of the workforce.

or you can create an account with USAJobs and monitor for the opening announcement. They usually have an open period lasting a month or two every year. You'll have to apply online and all that jazz, but that first website will give you all the details. The job itself is pretty awesome, but for Christ's sake be careful of where you decide to be stationed. You might just end up in a shithole with no chance of escape for five or so years Anything with Big Bend Sector on it make sure you avoid it like the plague.

Edit: The whole hiring process is rather involved and takes awhile. It took me a total of 9 months from start to finish. This is not including the couple of months you will do at the academy. The longest I have ever heard of it taking was 2 years. It seems to be dependent on your own personal history as the background investigation is...extensive.
