Got my boyfriend blue label. Its pretty tasty. I don't think the King George blue label is worth it though. Does anyone know how much better it is than normal blue label? For 600$ it better be God in a bottle. Is it worth it?

He loves it, actually its almost gone. He's a big whisky guy. I prefer single malt to blended though myself, but vodka more than either. Have you had the King George blue label before? Normal blue label is only $180, I can't imagine a blended whisky getting much better than that though. Do you know any good scotch/whisky in the 60$ range. I like green label, I think its the best Johnny Walker for the price, and there are a few single malts that begin with G that I don't remember how to spell or pronounce. Not a huge fan of bourbon though, too sweet for my taste.

Yeah there was another one as well. I think it was Glenlevet or something. I've tried a lot of single malts I like, bevmo has a good selection.

Its gone now. I found a place to get green label for less than 40$ so I'm not super devastated about it.

I often have the money, and I have the ID, but I can never bring myself to go out to drink in Gatineau. I don't know why. I just prefer to sit in at home and do it.

Ugh, alcohol i have such a low tolerance of it i guess i really dislike the taste but when i drink, i drink only the wonderfully delicious japanese sake. :lol:

I'm a total lightweight when it comes to alcohol and sometimes go a few years between drinks. When I do drink, I prefer it to be something that tastes good and doesn't get me drunk fast. I enjoy the relaxed feeling after one glass of a particularly good wine, as it stimulates interesting conversation and is truly relaxing. More than that, and it feels like my brain is drowning.
If I'm going to use a substance to alter my mental state, I prefer weed or hash. Every time I have smoked while studying, I always remember everything better because it takes away the feelings of pressure before an exam while not impairing the brain, which alcohol would.
