Hmm...

I can't say I've really ever been capable of doing that. I used be able to neck about eight cans of Scrumpy Jack (cider of choice - sadly, I'm actually know by that at one of the local shops...) and more. These days, I'd probably stagger out back and puke a lot if I did that.

Fun fact - puke can and will strip creosote from fences.

Not when one could get pissed for a tenner?

Not only has my tolerance gone up, but the cost of the stuff has sky-rocketed. You'd be damned lucky if you can get a round for twenty quid these days.

It was good times. And conveniently, that's when it was hardest to get beer.

Why you so mean?

I was merely reflecting when beer was about (or below) two quid fifty a pint. These days you'd be lucky to get three or four quid odd a pint.

I've developed this obsession with honey wine. Jersey Devil, a local brand, makes a great bottle. No one likes it but me, sadly, because it's too sweet (I get it without hops, I like the sweet stuff), but I dunno. I'm just really into it.

That said, I also love sangrias and the occasional coffee with Disaronno. I just had a few sangrias and two of the aforementioned coffees, and I spent about three minutes trying to figure out why I was spelling occassional wrong... god damn it, there it is again! I didn't edit that last for spelling to make a point. Maybe I had more than three sangrias. I don't even know.

Yeah, I think I should go to bed.

Drunk posting has been an NSG staple since 1997... stay on and drink more. :P

As for honey-related alcoholic beverages, I'm a fan of kruptnik. Add some water to it, and enjoy.

€3 or €4 would be cheap for a pint here. Ireland is hell sometimes.

This is my first NSG drunk post, yay! I don't post much, but when I do, I'm drunk and can't spell. "Post" over there was originally "pust."

Googled it. Looks interesting, I'll have to keep an eye out. I wonder if it would be terrible with Coke or Sprite. I love sweet stuff, but not like chocolate martinis or whatever. When it comes to wine, I mostly can't stand it, but I had this really sweet almond... thing... once and it was great. Also, cider. Mulled spiced wine.

I've made myself want cider. This thread is a bad (good?) influence.

I generally make worse typos whilst sober, so that doesn't seem so bad, and you even corrected it.
I've never tried kruptnik (by the by, the only brand I've tried is Old Kruptnik) anyway but straight, where its kind of silky, flows a little slow, like well, honey does though not that thick and mixed with water. Personally I wouldn't want to risk covering the flavor, but then, maybe it would taste orgasmic with sprite and I just don't know it yet.

If you like sweet wines, I had a really quite good sweet Rhubarb wine from a winery in the middle of buttfuck nowhere Indiana... might have the bottle kicking around somewhere... Cider is alright, but its not something I've ever craved.

Beer prices (especially in bars) are ridiculous. I hardly go out to drink much because of the cost.

I’m really starting to take a liking to those “Flavored” Vodkas. Especially the citrusy ones. It’s like a big bottle full of cocktail.

But It’s my personal rule to never drink unless I’ve had something to eat.

I guess they were alright, when I was 17.
