I've taken a liking to IPAs lately, Stone, Sierra Nevada, etc. Sake is always nice, provided you don't have to do anything for the next few hours. My favorite has to be that 'B&B' stuff though; some kind of spiced liquor with a distinct cinnamon taste.

Red Stripe is good but I always want to have sand under my feet when I drink it. I got some Anchor Steam Summer Beer yesterday, it's tasty. The Kona Brewing Co. out in the Sandwich Islands make some decent products. How long does it take them to paddle all the way to California, though, with cases of beer on board?

Get them drunk first, before departure, otherwise there goes the inventory.

I have a wine spritzer (seltzer) every day. Shiraz is refreshing.

I miss Tokay, it is so hard to find.

Brandy is comfortably warming, E&J is reliable and affordable, it is like a Toyota to Courvoisier's Mercedes.

Also speaking of Guinness, I have today gained access to Guinness Black Lager. I am intrigued, and plan to sample it.
