There are needy people in Africa who would love to have your names! Are you going to deny them that?

I don't know. It would be practical, but I'm rather attached to them. Gender-exclusive names just add a bit more to my comfort level when expressing as them for some reason.

No. I mean that they don't always write them in that order especially depending where you are from and what is the given name, family name, possibly other names, as well as the system how the names are decided. Sometimes the family name will be first. In here we usually the given name at first. But sometimes it is not quite that simple.

And out of curiousity, how do you use your other names?

At most, you could call it "culturally insensitive," but it's not racist. East Asians typically having the family name first isn't a racial thing; it's something that was developed in their culture.

As my sex is male and my friends obviously cannot know what my gender identity is at the time, I typically just have others refer to me as Jackson. I will sometimes tell others if I am identifying as another gender at that particular time, upon which they refer to me be the appropriate name, though it is more often just something I assign myself to feel more comfortable. The issue of my gender identity is rather strange, and changes at random. I have gone almost two weeks identifying exclusively as one gender and on other occasions have changed it within a half an hour. It's rather irritating and can at times make me really uncomfortable, but as there really is nothing I can do to resolve it I have simply come to cope with it the best I can.

Go on a quest of self discovery. It's possible that you change so much due to indecision, so if you spend some time getting to know yourself, you could figure out what gender you actually are. If not, well at least you'll know, and you'll likely also be more comfortable about yourself, as well.

O, so that is what it is called. OK.

I will not tell you my name at this time, but if it would seem necessary (such as, I write some book that is of interest to NationStates) then I would tell you.

Thanks. The term for it is "genderfluid", though I have never met another person who identifies as one. While I have had thoughts of alternate gender expressions my entire life, I have only recently realized that I actually identify as other genders on occasion. It's rather hard to tell others about, as it alwaus takes a bit of explaining, but while not everyone I told really understood, they all were accepting. It's different, but aside from the occasional depression that results from the conflict between my gender and my sex, it's not that bad. Still, I'd certainly rather identify as one gender, even it was not the same as my sex, for at least then I could just change it and get it over with instead of having to deal with these thoughts. Oh well, I have to learn to live with how I am.

Which is quite gender-neutral, as it is actually a patronymic. :D
