AS A CLEVELAND FAN, I still hate him for leaving us like that.

As a Cleveland fan I'm glad he left. Him winning the championship for Cleveland would of been about him not about us. ESPN wouldn't give shit about us winning our first championship since 1964 in any major sport. It would of just been about him. The good thing is that Cleveland can now move on with the likes of Irving and our #4 draft pick this year.

Winning the title does not change the absolutely classless way he left Cleveland, stabbed those fans in the back, ripped their hearts out and stomped all over them. All on national TV.

I still dislike him.

I'm glad that Wade & Battier won, but not so much for LeBron
I think he's way too old to be as cocky and immiture as he is
I hope he learned something from this season. He can't just
shrug of his haters, he needs to own up to why they hate him.
It's not because he moved to Miami it's the disrespectful and
show-offy way he did it. He acts like he's the best player ever
and that the NBA..and the world owes him somethings

I don't follow basketball very much, except what's unavoidable because I live where the Nuggets fail year after year, but I did think James' treatment of Cleveland left something to be desired. Then again, it's a free capitalist nation, if he can peddle his talents elsewhere, more power to him.

It's not about peddling talents elsewhere. That is perfectly ok. It's the way he left his old team and fans. That is not ok.

That's nice. But I still remember that LeBron ditched Cleveland for Miami, only to have the Ring taken away from him by Dallas.

In basketball, and in other pro sports, we have convicted killers, wife beaters, tax cheats, drunk drivers, drug abusers and on and on.

LeBron is none of those. He's never been in any kind of trouble. He was drafted (not by his choice) into a terrible team and transformed it into a contender. Once he left, it was terrible again. The owner of that team made statements that showed he regarded himself as a plantation owner and LeBron as his slave.

He was at a Miami pep rally, full of cheering fans, and told them "If this team plays up to its potential, then we will win some rings. Not one, not two, not three..." and that is, as far as I can tell, the only "bad" thing he has done. Even that one "bad" thing should be judged in context.

The "one Bad thing" aka THE DECISION was the biggest EGOTRIP ever. Why buy time on a national network (for $5 million/hr); rent out a Boy and Girl's club in NJ (granted he gave them $400k); and waste 57 minutes talking about how much he loved himself before stabbing his hometown in the back just to play with two friends, one of which was one of his bigger rivals D-Wade (Durant and Rose are the other two) and the other one no-one gave two craps about, just because he couldn't win a title by himself or convince any of his friends to play in his backyard.

I don't begrudge LBJ going to Miami, 99999/100000 of us would rathe be in Miami at any given moment than Cleveland, but it's the egotisical way he did it that people can't forgive him for. If he had a normal presss conference and said the same thing, odds are HE wouldn't be perceived as such an egoistical ass-hole.

The "Not 1, not 2, not 3... etc." really was the Heat management telling them to say that, I blame Pat Riley for that BS. The introduction they had, I didn't/don't even have a problem with and actually watched it on TV.

Really, that had to be one of the worst offseasons in NBA history. All of the superstars came to very few teams, leaving the NBA with several super-franchises and a bunch of squabbling rats. My team actually lost all but maybe 2 or 3 good players that year.

The good thing is that Cleveland can now move on with the likes of Irving and our #4 draft pick this year.

I disagree, tbqh. It's a different sport, but take the story of the New Orleans Saints, we finally got a superstar in our small market, and the team not only won a championship, it was all about the city the whole time.

That's what I really didn't like about the whole LeBron thing, it was a triumph of the larger markets over loyalty to the smaller ones. And since Chris Paul followed suit, I can't say I was wrong.

I don't care really; until people start comparing him to guys like Micheal Jordan and Charles Barkley who were in their prime long before and honestly much better players than he was at that point in their lives; then I get a bit irate.
