I couldn't really get into Doctor Who. What's that episode about?

River who is a semi-time lord alters a fixed point in time when she was supposed to kill the doctor ending in a massive kerfluffle when all time is happening simultaneously. When the Doctor calls her out on this she says that he is more important than all of time and space.

And the wedding of River Song, which is actually relatively unimportant to the plot.

I couldn't really get into Doctor Who. What's that episode about?

I'd hate to give spoilers to anyone that was going to watch it but hadn't yet.

The heart of the story is that time and space are being destroyed because River won't kill the Doctor, and thus, complete events that have already occurred. River understands that (literally) everything hinges on her choice - that the entirety of reality is destroyed if she won't do it - but she can't imagine or face a reality in which she killed him.

I am deeply saddened to hear that you couldn't get into Doctor Who, though.
