My work here for today is done, I'll check back tomorrow. I think many of you should look further than the aforementioned list of fallacies because with libertarianism, people often mistake the hate for misuse for power with hate for the argument itself.

For example, Ron Paul opposed the government's power to force private businesses to stop discriminating. This doesn't mean Paul votes for racist policies, it means he doesn't support the government power to do everything that society deems "moral"- no matter how common sense they may be.

Given that he has voted for legislating to forcibly ban gay marriage and abortion, that conclusion is bullshit.

I couldn't agree more. If there is one thing that Ron Paul does not support, it's common sense.

He's been out of the race since forever, he's got no support among the Republican base, and his little "brokered convention" plan isn't going to work (though it would be HILARIOUS if it did). Dude, just drop your robotic parroting of Paulian nonsense before you humiliate yourself even further.

If you're willing to sell your country down the river in order to make more money, then you don't love your country.

If I'm married, and I hide my money from my wife and make her lose her job to get ahead in my own career, then I don't love my wife.

In fact, I'd argue, he also doesn't love his wife, while we're on the subject. No one who loves their spouse could be as insensitive toward them as he is.
