Uh, that's not what he's saying. He's stating a logical proposition which sailed over your head so far it is little wonder you never even noted it's passage.

Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.

It's not news to them, Rand's stumbling aside, they know that. It's one of the main ways they can hold back a recovery and blame it on Obama. They continuely shout about the growth of government and 'we can't afford it' etc etc etc knowing that's how Reagan Bush and Bush all dealt with their recessions. They're holding that tool in the box and yelling about how you can't use it because if they didn't shit would get better and no one in their right mind would consider electing a Ken Doll President edition.

The only thing here is that Rand accidentally allowed someone to use facts in the narrative. But since it was Rand Paul and Paul Krugmann, no one was listening and the next time I go to the cigar shop I'll still have to listen to someone complain about the out of control government.

Banning sex would be disturbingly Orwellian

It's terrifying as such an attitude suggests oppression under the guise of moralism.

And notice those two behaviors were attributed to men who pushed for moralistic stances like keeping homosexuality down. Anyone who wants to openly ban porn probably has a stash that would make Chris Hansen vomit.

It's an expose on his mindset. He'd treat the military no different than any business he bought under Bain.

Well, crap yeah, of course he would.

Soldiers are employees. They're meant to be sacrificed to meet the needs of upper management. WTF else to they expect?

Seriously, their would-be Commander-in-Chief is simply telling it like it is: They should be glad they have work... and BTW, on that score, they'd better get their asses in gear, because The Boss has some... er, acquisitions in mind, starting with Iran.

Ashmoria wrote:you [Romney] talk about what is important. what was important was how much money "the military" was getting. not the troops.

Again, why is this a surprise? Capital purchase are always more important than anything having to do with personnel.

he would take away pre-existing condition but not necessarily mandate that people with such condition get AFFORDABLE insurance, just that insurance companies have to insure them. $10k/month, perhaps.

The Romney-Ryan ticket is a joke and isn't advocating anything that we can't look back into recent history to debunk as part of the neo-con mythos. Obama, taking some salt from the Daily Show, at least haven't made things worst than they could have been.

The debates would be funny though, except maybe Biden v.s. Ryan.
