Apparently, it's news to Republicans: there are less people employed in government than when Obama took office.

It's not news to them, Rand's stumbling aside, they know that. It's one of the main ways they can hold back a recovery and blame it on Obama. They continuely shout about the growth of government and 'we can't afford it' etc etc etc knowing that's how Reagan Bush and Bush all dealt with their recessions.
