Probably some absurdity having to do with the time he lived in Indonesia as a kid. I hadn't heard that Harvard was requiring applicants to renounce their citizenship.

Yes, but the wall was in Berlin, Illinois, and it happened when he was a teenager. His father made him put it back up.

I like how everyone is missing what I'm saying: The socialists are not trying to win. Alexander and Mendoza are both continuing to work full time. If that doesn't say "I'm not serious about this campaign", I don't know what does. Getting recognized and getting people interested is hardly short sighted. You can't create a base in a city without getting someone local interested in setting up a local party office.

They shouldn't run, or actively campaign. I see nothing wrong with collecting signatures to get on the ballot, however.
