What the hell is that hamburger made of? Ground meat isn't that uniform, and it certainly doesn't have edges like that.Dumb Ideologies wrote:Halt!

At least, in my experience at least.

No, we don't do those square ones around here, that would be blasphemous. We produce the best watermelons hands down and have no need for any kind of gimmick to get people to buy them. Not when we have people coming in from Tokyo just to get one and they are shipped throughout the country.

Last year we had one shoot a Holstein. They thought it was a deer. During the day. In an open field.

Reminds me of a friend of mine's wife who wanted to try hunting just to spend more time with her husband. Was told by the husband if you shoot a deer hurry up and get it and be assertive about making sure no other hunter gets it. So she shoots and hit something by a tree. She runs over there and this guy appears and the wife immediately starts going on about this is my kill. He can cant even get a single word in. Finally the husband shows up and says, honey, let the man get back his saddle.

I had a client in PA, a farmer, who lost a cow that year. So, next season, he painted (non toxic) big red letters on the side off his heifers: COW.
He lost another one that year, shot right through the "O" as if the hunter (from Cleveland) had been taking target practice.
Those Ohio hunters would also drive around at night with spotlights (we all did that) and shoot at whatever looked, in the dark, like a deer (none of us did that). From their SUV, while it was moving.
They managed to hit quite a few farmhouses.
From a moving vehicle?

It was against state law of course; they ended up being our clients. We got them a deal: Pay a big fine and do no time. The court knew that as out-of-staters they might be a flight risk but they had the deep pockets to make bail, so the judge figured he's take their money rather than risk letting them off the hook.
