Seriously though. Why are "classics" better than modern? And I'm gonna need more than just "because I said so".

:palm: Your lack of taste is no problem of mine. I listen to modern music too, frequently even than classical, rock and roll partially carrying on it's role in the 20th century.
But, you know, where as rockers would have to tune their guitars, all your guys need to do is to update the software anti-virus. I'm not saying you're some simpleton, but your failure to recognize quality is your shame.
Is the concept of chords, tones, keys, time signatures known to you? Now, I ain't no expert, but you can't argue what music is more complex. There are melody and rhythm all fit together perfectly. Violins playing unison, the true beauty of music.
Of course, you aren't a robot. Complex harmonies and scales alone do not mean good music. It is about what is captured in it, the tempo change, the constant discovery, you explore one piece as you listen to it. It's not just a sampled synthesizer played over a repetitive beat.

If you think Beethoven is better than anything any modern artists have ever come up with, that's your opinion. That doesn't make it an established fact. Civil unions are not equal to marriage, at least not here in Finland. Same-sex couples don't have a right to a common surname, for example

And oh god it makes me so sad to look at that map and see Finland as the only Nordic country that is not colored in dark blue. Fuck you True Finns.

Its about equal rights, adult consenting citizens have the right to marry other adult consenting citizens. Period.

If you disagree with gay marriage, do not marry a gay person, its as simple as that.

Just complain? Maybe in your country? Just see how will the gay pride in Serbia develop. Three were cancelled, we showed our position on it. We're not girly little politically-correct Scandinavians.

Which is nothing you did. If a parade were permitted, I doubt you'd do a damn thing but bitch.

All the parades in my country were violently imposed, and thusly, have been violently broken up. I'm not for the lynching of gays, but when they get all over us, hell, we won't just file a compliant. It's my country, my city, and I wont be ridiculed by roughly 500 Belgrade's gays and equally much money mad politicians.

The homophobes should've been violently broken up. As violently as fucking possible.

And if an entire country and city thinks like that, it's a shitty place and unworthy of being called "civilised".

This seems like an issue that kind of flies 'under the radar' for many libertarians and anti-statists, but it seems like we could make a lot of headway with the marriage debate by promoting the solution of simply getting government out of marriage altogether:

Economic Left/Right: 10.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.74

Stefan Molyneux is awesome! :) Google him to understand why

That'd still allow people to violate LGBT people's civil rights, even more in the absence of a government.

Finland is also the only Nordic republic, and republics often turn to factors like religion/ideology to unify their populations, as opposed to monarchies which use a living person as the symbol of unity. Only 2 countries out of the 11 to have legalized SSM are republics, and they were among the last to do so.

Argentina, Iceland, Portugal and South Africa are republics. It's 4 out of 11.
