They do tend to have at least a post or two (or more) that offer constructive criticism towards us and suggestions for improvement.

No, no - continue!
You have a quite good talent in you.
The world could use more verse,
Because it makes bad days less worse.
I think silly rhyming is funny,
And if you agree, send me some money.
I'm out of ideas for now, but if you have a few,
Maybe you can post one or two.
Okay, that last line was a stretch.
I'll reach in my pocket, and find all but money,
Maybe some lint will suffice?
I'm not sure if I can call you honey,
But that's up to the dice,
Yes the world is much worse,
Than these few soggy verse,
And I'll probably end up passing you in a hearse.

And no, we would never ban opinion threads. Some good does come out of them. We're not above criticism, whatever a few seem to like to claim. I think it's important to make sure players understand that they aren't going to be instantly deleted just for questioning how we handle things, or commenting negatively about us.
If those accusations were true, how is it we still have people around to criticize and toss around unsupported accusations? If we were half the tyrants we're claimed to be, that's one of the first things I'd go about cleaning up, and then systematically 'removing' any and all evidence to the contrary. It would be the smart thing to do, no?

Your rhyme scheme, it seems absurd,
But you respect the classics - word.
If A/B/A/B is your type of thing,
Would you consider taking others out for a fling?
Consider, for now, my broken meter:
All crookedy and ragged, with no lovely Rita.
Or check out my twisted rhyming,
All spewed out, with no sense of timing.
But I'm rather fond of it, I really am.
It's best served with candied yam.
And you may question why I eat my words -
"To do otherwise would be absurd."
It's the one, my only answer.
I hope this post doesn't cause you cancer.
EDIT: Bollocks, didn't see Nath's post in time.

We could always make a location thread, or another place to rhyme,
About that god damned real world, on here to pass the time,
Be seeing you, my newfound friend, after weights and running home,
At least I know someone else can rhyme, and chime, on F7, you shall roam...

I can't recall a time where anyone has done that to another. Most of the time, we step back from the site if we're in an incredibly bad mood or if we just feel that we can't be neutral in certain situations to allow other, more neutral mods rule. Example being that I generally avoid giving judgement on any issue having to do with gay marriage debates or homosexuality in general.

I kind of imagined it as an Admin oversight thing, whereas you're a Mod, right? It wouldn't necessarily be in anyone's interest to tell you if an Admin benched some other Mod. The other Mod might tell you, but ...
So I guess I'm saying, I'd trust an Admin's answer on this more than a Mod's.

But I have some important information which may change your opinion of the mods, or at least of this mod.
I am not in fact, as claimed, an archaeologist who teaches at a reasonably well-regarded university in the UK.
I am instead a hyper-intelligent genetically engineered hamster called Gerald.
They allow me a keyboard and an internet connection here in the lab (though running along the keyboard to pick out my words takes forever), but otherwise all this knowledge about archaeology, history, and Orthodox theology? That's just me making really good use of Wiki.
I'm getting really bored now, so if only I knew where I was - that much the fiendish scientists in the lab have managed to hide from me - I'd ask you to rescue me.
Please rescue me....(Image)
