One study from Rutgers (the place that is notoriously anti-gay) posted on Cracked.com that hasn't even been peer-reviewed doesn't prove anything. There is no relationship between testosterone/estrogen levels and being gay/straight.

Gaydar is sort of mythical, and never foolproof. Some people are just less oblivious than others, that's all.

Is there really a way to spot a fabulous person from a crowd? Personally, I don't think there is any sure way to actually call someone on sexuality just by looking at them, especially with the rise of metrosexuality and whatnot. People mostly go on style and voice pitch when trying to guess a man's sexuality, but that's not very reliable.

It's not just look, it's body language, speech, and other reactions. Gaydar doesn't have to be just 'seeing someone in a crowd' and thinking "Oh, he/she's gay". It's interaction as well. My gaydar is pretty well tuned.

As is mine. I'm not 100% accurate, but I feel like I can reasonably tell whether somebody I'm interacting with is LGBT or not. But going just by looks, that's impossible.
