His problem is that if abortions are allowed, rape victims will do it. A minister of his, a lackey has said "if rape victims do not want to look after their children, it isn't a problem. The state will look after them." Which means, they will be able to brainwash more people, get more votes, etc.

good for him. Abortion is murder. It is vile and disgusting; a true crime against humanity. And I like that he has come up with solutions. Instead of just saying that he wants to ban abortions, he offers government funds to raise and protect babies that have a chance to live now that they are protected from murder. Also, if the government is going to ban abortion, it should provide free, reliable, and simple birth control for all women that can have a baby if requested. Anti-abortionists, such as myself, have nothing at all against women. We do not think they are whores or should be told what to do with their bodies. The problem is we believe in protecting the weak and innocent, which are the unborn babies. And no amount of verbal gymnastics by pro-abortion advocates can close our eyes to the fact that a fetus is a human baby, and is worth arguing for and even dying for to protect.

However, if he is using this issue to divert attention from attrocities he has committed, his prolife stance shouldn't misguide anyone into thinking this is a good guy, and I would hope the people don't let this issue forget whatever he is trying to divert attention away from.

How about you go get pregnant, start a several hundred-thousand dollar fund and put away 18 years of your life just because you think a four week old fetus is similar to a baby or anyone else. Oh wait, since its women who are involved in this, and not you, they shouldn't be forced to have something inside of them because someone can't face reality.
