According to this, this has happened multiple times in that area...

Cops are blaming it on "Bad LSD" which causes the subject to feel like they is literally "melting in their clothes".
Reports of attacks are coming in from Brisbane, or Melbourne, one of the two.
Evidently, I can't find any record of planes coming to or fro Florida, so this may be coincidental.
I'm staying the hell away from any major urban centers tomorrow, and I'll keep an eye on all news sources.

9gag isn't a credible source of information, and let's not forget that all this comes from the country where a sizeable proportion of the populace believe that they have been abducted by aliens and/or believe that they have their own guardian angels.
