I never thought Esperanto was so much like Latin. Credo me praeferre Latinam, sed Esperanto malus non est. Latin does look better though. Which is one of the reasons why I'd support adopting it as an international secondary language, perhaps modified so that it has less irregularities, although it doesn't have many in the first place. Another is that it's perfectly adapted to the Latin alphabet. English definitely isn't, and it's not only because there are too many letters for the same sound, but also because there are too many sounds for the same letter.
