Klopt. Als je vanaf hier naar de Maas loopt kun je het KPN-gebouw nog gewoon zien, met zijn lichtjes.

HC Eredivisie heeft helemaal gelijk. Tussen PTT en TNT zit inderdaad ook nog de benaming TPG, kort voor The Post Group. Je begrijpt natuurlijk wel dat een Nederlandse naam voor een Nederlands postbedrijf absoluut niet meer kan. Door alle naamswijzigingen was dat buiten het kader van mijn denkraam gevallen, slordig van me!

De postbodes zijn inmiddels de laan uitgestuurd. Het zijn nu (veel goedkopere) postbezorgers, die eigenlijk hetzelfde werk doen voor minder geld.
