Who else would have? I can't imagine the school would, the press don't tend to have spies planted in schools, etc. The parents are the obvious ones looking to get revenge on the school who would dare punish their son.

What is immediately apparent is that The Sun 'accidentally' leaves out the part that this 'game of soldiers' took place while all the students were supposed to be being quiet - in other words, while no one else is playing, Steven Cheek suddenly decides to 'shoot' his Polish friend, and talk about killing Germans.

The only person calling it 'racism', seems to be his mother... everyone else seems to be saying that he spoke inappropriately.

I found the news in my local newspaper, the paper version. Later I checked the website and then looked for an English source.

While I know that The Sun is a shitty paper the story was more or less the same as in my quality paper.
