Yes, and the question is whether or not he crossed it. I think he should be allowed to come back as long as he watches what he says a bit more.

EDIT: He never told others to do what he did.

So what do you think NSG? Are the mods justified in their decisions or am I right about any of this? I would also like to hear the moderators opinion on this issue as well.

Lol

Lolol.

The mods in this forum are pretty damn lenient compared to the mods of other forums.

Nah, I did actually lose hope in humanity quite some time ago. This only confirms it.

So if someone were to confess to a murder and show all the evidence of them doing, it'll be a-okay.

It's not an endorsement. It's just showing that they are teh c00l.

Pretty sure you can make an argument without confessing to crimes. So, with that in mind, why do you think he confessed?

Are the mods corrupt/biased enough? I, for one, think they've still got an unfortunately long ways to go. I mean really, threads like this one and Karin's utterly absurd revolution thread are proof enough of that. Where is the hellfire and nuclear modbomb barrage? They ought to be more liberally applying their banhammers, and they are sorely lacking on their DEAT-stabbings. Their names should be making the peasantry flee in fear at the mere mention of them! Their wrath should be quickly and freely given, with none of this obnoxious escalating warnings and one-day softly-softly ban crap. Can you imagine? People getting unofficial notices and redtext warnings, instead of the skull-smashing impact of a banhammer at the first cause of modly annoyance! And don't even get me started on their idiotic appeals process! It's disgusting I tell you! Letting players get erroneous warnings overturned, letting them question the infaliable Word of Mod? Preposterous!

Seriously, what kinda of mamby-pamby corruption is that? Sweet merciless BOFH, they are doing it completely wrong! Try harder, mods! Come on, you can do better than this!

EDIT: He never told others to do what he did.

He'd been repeatedly told not to discuss what comprises a criminal act in a good chunk of the part of the world that the forum services. He'd been warned ad nauseam too. Somehow he didn't take a hint and after he got deleted, he kept it up. It's really no surprise that he got DOS'd.

Yeah and that's understandable, they've been over it a thousand time and seen at least four of these threads in the last two days about the issue.

The issue is also a PR one as much as anything. Bestiality is not looked upon well at all, given a poster in this thread's outright statement that they would "hunt him down and destroy [1000 Cats]" if given the chance, allowing Cats to post about that openly... Could bring Hell down on the forum's head.

I really don't see the difference. If 4chan can call the cops for people torturing cats, pretty sure the NS mods can do what they need to do in regards to this.

Yep, this is how I look at it. They're probably of the 'if you don't like it, don't be here' attitude ultimately.
It's a privately run site / game / forum, they can do what they like, but in the interests of most of us and of the game's success, they don't just ban us for no reason.
Once you start on topics that are distasteful to the average person, that are illegal in many places, and are against what the mods believe is good for the game, and you know this but push the limits, and you have been warned, you have to expect to be banned.

I'm pretty new, but it seems obvious enough.
They can ban us anytime and they don't have to explain themselves. They don't (obviously), but if we push our luck, and especially if we know we are, it's goodbye.
How is that unfair?
What's with the complete idiot that constantly reports threads to the Moderation forum? Mostly just wasting Mods' time over nothing at all. You know who you are, weirdo.

There is that too, of course. God knows the last thing they'd need is this site getting deleted or looked into.
