According to Yahoo, it may be possible to get plants to receive nutrients from blood, but it's unknown, I think, if they can survive solely on blood.
They still need soil, though. The nutrients that they need in soil are oxygen, hydrogen, carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Oxygen (if you plant the tree in an artery) should be easy to get. Same goes, I think, for potassium and phosphorus. I'm pretty sure you'd need to plant the seed in a vein in order to the carbon from CO2 (There's some more Oxygen for you).
In order to get the nitrogen (I'm not sure if there is nitrogen in blood), you could try Nitrous oxide, Laughing Gas, but I'm not sure if that'd be safe to put in your blood stream.
But I have no idea how you'll get any hydrogen. I don't know if that's in your blood, either.
I do not recommend doing any of this.
Nitrogen is in the blood stream (that's part of the reason why one gets the Bends when rapidly undergoing pressure changes). CO2 can be gotten from the air, as usual. I'm pretty sure phosphorus is in cells, and potassium is in the muscles, IIRC. Hydrogen is in the blood, in water.
