That my brother has the best logic to describe why Captain America got a C+ on Moviefone:

"Those damn liberals!"
"Then I was fertilized and grew wise;
From a word to a word I was led to a word,
From a work to a work I was led to a work."
- Odin, Hávamál 138-141, the Poetic Edda, as translated by Dan McCoy.

I enjoy meta-humor and self-deprecation. Annoying, right?

It's Moviefone, they're rated by ordinary people. And ordinary men can't go six minutes without an explosion.

Phillistines. The action scene in the third act was well-furnished with satisying kabooms.
Besides, every superhero action movie has explosions. How many have a musical production number?

What? The only movie he directed that I would call awful was The Wolfman, and that wasn't his fault. The Rocketeer, October Sky, Jumanji--these are good movies.

Jumanji was shit.

Jurassic Park 3 was flaming shit.

Honey, I Shrank the Kids was flaming shit on a stick.

The Pagemaster can not be described by any mortal tongue.

That sucks. But my irregular sleep patterns are scaring my parents, who are worried about me waking up in time for school when summer ends, and I really don't give a shit about that.

In any case, George Lucas had nothing to do with Captain America and that was damn near perfect.
