I've read too much political theory. Can't help relating this to the J.S. Mill and Jeremy Bentham stuff about push-pin and poetry. The smart get higher, more durable pleasures? Don't think I buy.

Enough ramblings from me. I'm off to bed at last. Thanks for putting up with me, cheered me up a whole bunch at some point. I learned this thread is a very useful engine.
