I don't believe in "dimensions", at least not in the sense you seem to perpetrate this idea.

I could say I don't believe in gravity, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Just saying, a dimension is merely a different way of moving.

Say there's a 2D (it is assumed that time is a constant, regardless of spatial dimensions) creature, living in a 2D society. He knows nothing of anything he can't see in the 2 dimensions of space that he can experience. His society also has the concept that time is a dimension as well.

He begins to wonder, what if there's more dimensions that he can't see, not only of time, but of space as well? He can't picture what a 3D object would look like in 3D space, because he has never experienced 3D space, although he can picture what it might look like in 2D space.

Hmm. Fries with shit. Could it be the new ketchup?

Nohohoho. Not a chance.

But seriously, I will probably just try to learn something from it. The fact is, I'm young, inexperienced in life, and though smart for my age, I can't think pragmatically, nor do I know enough to build such a great and powerful argument. I can only hope someday I will be able to, and try to get there. For now, I work well with ideals.

That happens sometimes.

I know. The argument seems reasonable with the stance I'd have taken, but it doesn't feel I have the ability yet to make such arguments.

That there's an Itsy Bitsy Spider song that goes more or less like this:

The itsy-bitsy spider
went up the H2O conveyance device.
Down came the precipitation
and washed the web-spinning arachnid out!

That just raped the poetic meter of the song.
