In a way it is. Language needs to be used in order to be of any worth. I can learn Swahili all I want, but chances are slim I'm ever going to use it. So the value of learning it would lie solely in the practice my brain would get by learning it. And in that case I might as well learn a language which I'm more likely to use during my lifetime, eg. French.

Then again, this can be said about learning almost anything, it's of no use if you don't use it (safe the practice for your brain).

I never get to know the answer of this question. So I'm asking it to a native: Are Romanians Slavs?
