Yup. Different license - the 'firearms' license instead of the shotgun license, I believe.

What most people seem to be unaware of is that Brits can have guns if they can demonstrate a 'good reason' - it's just that the UK system doesn't include 'self-defense' as a good reason.

I have to disagree with the first thing. From what I've seen from Romania and Hungary I think Hungary is slightly better.

But yeah, the racism thing is awful around Eastern Europe. When I hear stories from someone in Slovakia I'm like okay... that is just... :? And I know that it's not better in Hungary, Romania, etc.
