Feels good. Feels good to be a Zeno.

That reminds me, I should work on my Holy Book.

Needs more mad death poetry.

Sounds amazing. What's gonna be it's motto?

Zeno's motto for religion is gonna be, 'No one ever lacks good reasons for suicide." ~ Can't remember who wrote that... but it sounds... kinda goofy actually.

What is Zeno's religion? is there a joining fee? Is Zeno the actual deity or just a prohpet or officiator of some kind? Will there be pie involved? Does one of the commandments have anything to do with tormenting cats?

Actually, Deus, thats a fail on your part. 'En Dios' means 'In God' in Spanish. The word for China back in the day was Cathay, IIRC, so any phrase relating to China would probably have some form of Cathay in it. Although, the spanish phrase for Chinese food is La Comida Oriental, so....

I never said 'en Dios' menat China. Reading comprehension fail on your part.

But you did imply that the two were linked.

India was also a generic term for the east. Writings from the time occasionally describe Chinese sailing vessels as being 'Indian junks'.

Sounds sexual.

Really? I live in Spain, and I've never heard that phrase in my life.

We just say: "Vamos a un chino?"

Dammit, another fail for me. :palm:

Although, I can't blame myself, since we never really covered it during the year, but I could swear that's what it was...but then again, we studied the Mexican dialect, and I know Mexican doesn't use the vosotros form, so its not that much to assume that the terminologies are different as well.

I don't know. It's fine in that case, if I know who I'm addressing. Still is bothersome in conversation when one has to ask, "the Native American kind or South Asian kind?".

That's why I omit the word Indian unless explicity referring to the country or for a tribe that prefers it, and only use Native American and Hindu.

Here... Written on a whim. *nods*

Misanthropic Zenoism

Da Rulez: =3
1. Try not to kill people. (this can be very hard at times. But, please... try keeping a clean record.)
2. Don't associate wealth with money.
3. No alchy's.
4. Dont worship anything; except yourself.... if you need to. (But that's kinda dumb to, so try not doing that.)

Afterlife:
You become a ghost. Usually. If you have enough wealth while operating your fleshy vessel there, than you'll surely have enough to take some form/shape in the afterlife as a ghost. Nothing changes really. No angels, or babes in bikini's running around, no wishes granted on demand, no heaven to worry about... Simply all that happens is; you become a ghosty ghost. Oh, and there's no hell either, so if you murder someone and off yourself you can still become a ghost if you've already accomplished quite a lot. But don't do that, it's against the rules. Sure, killing yourself can come in handy... sometimes. But, let's elaborate on that a bit here....

Suicide:
Suicide is a great method of escape. And if you're a misanthropic Zenoist, it offers many benefits. Such as choosing what kind of person you want to be in the next life, and other nice things like that. Let's throw up an example so we can better understand this wonderful system.

Ted is suffering from a disease called 'Having no legs'. Ted wants to run around and play with his children, but he has no legs. He wants to do many things that a normal man does, but he has no legs. He has no legs. Eventually, this becomes his little catch phrase. Over time, Ted will begin to hate life more and more. He wants to be a beautiful woman with great legs and stuff. But he can't, cause he has no legs. So, what we have here is a major problem. A permanent problem. Permanent problems can have permanent solutions. Such as suicide. So, Ted offs himself with a spork and is reborn on his previously desired time, with his previously desired body, with his previously desired setting, family, whatever. Now, All of Ted's problems are fixed. Even his name, the one he didn't like. So, now, he's called 'Crystal', and he's a she now, with a beautiful body and awesome life ahead of her. All problems fixed. All illnesses remedied.

This pretty much describes the suicide portion of Misanthropic Zenoism.

This aint a comet cult, Zeno.

Plus, non-organized Christianity allows for open interpretation, which is good considering that there are some things in the Bible that shouldn't be taken as total fact, considering that its been translated from Greek and Hebrew into Latin, and from there to 14th century English, and updated since. Things are bound to have been lost in translation (especially considering that Douchebag in German can be interpreted as 'Shower pocket'). Not to mention that for the 1200+ years that the catholic church was in control of each copy of the bible, it would've been subject to the whims of a medieval old guy's agenda.
