Today, I learned that my Trans Am needs a new distributor and alternator, which will cost me about $500.

Gah. Had to happen sooner or later, I suppose. I mean, I can keep blowing fuses and gradually losing battery charge, but no, I'd rather have my car functioning at peak efficiency.
