That kinda reminds me of how I used to go out of my house almost every nite, and just walk around. I lived in a small town, and I'm good with directions, so I wasn't worried about somebody catching me or getting lost. Just about the only thing I was afraid of was somebody's dog barking at me. I usually went as far south as the city limits (about a 2 minute drive at 45 mph), as far east as the nearest gas station (1:30 at 35 mph), about a mile and a half north of my house, and about a 35 minute walk west.

I would've gone farther north, into the city, but I'd have been more likely to get caught (damn curfew laws).

Damn. I miss that time in my life. :(

HEeheh, sounds like fun, see/hear/feel anything interesting on any of these walks? :]

Well, it's never to late to go and run around aimlessly for a few hours.
Zeno's got maybe another 5.89 miles worth of running around tomorrow... maybe twice as much if Zeno's got mild to moderate mania.

My band is called Musical Jihadist.

It's a badass name.

Both are awesome names. Damn.

Some of my friends and I were gonna start a band (they'll probably keep going with it, but since I moved, they're gonna have to find a new 2nd bassist/backup vocalist. yeah, thats the thing one of my friends said, that we needed 2 bassists and 2 drummers in addition to 2 guitarists)...called 4 Oceans Bleed. I know, it sucks.

No, we just needed a German name and "Lightning Empire" sounded awesome. Hell, even in English it sounds awesome.

I was in 3 bands in my lifetime. A band called Vladdy and his Dirty Little Fuckers, Sumerian Death Cult, and The Electric Rape Squad.

As you can tell, we were a family-friendly band for all ages.

Well, once I saw two guy from my class in a car with some other people, about to go to a party. I also saw a demolished house (with some personal effects that should've been taken with the occupants strewn around). Not to mention that on a nice night, you can see a shit load of stars just by moving a mile or two south. But other than those things, and the occasional wierd item (like a landline phone  ), not really.

But actually, I can't do that anymore. I live with my grandparents now (I can't sneak out, because gramps can't manage to stay asleep for a solid hour at a time), and they live in a different city, and the neighborhood has a neighborhood watch.

It sounds like a bunch of pseudo-krauts jizzed into a tin can full of 1980's power metal and testosterone, let it bake in the oven, and then used the name that came out.

Add we all know that will sell albums. ;)

Besides, it beats my two other bands "Rebels Without a Cause" and "Seven's Army".

Yeah it does suck. Which is part of the reason why I need a fucking time machine.

Neighborhood watch: when a group of neighbors get together, and keep a lookout for suspicious individuals/activity in the area.

No. I doubt that I have enough money, and the only difference between where I live and a retirement community is the fact that it wasn't designed to be a retirement community.

VDLF: I played bass and sang. It was more or less a straighforward hardcore punk band, with some surfrock guitar added in.

SDC: I sang and played violin. It was a sort of Blackened Thrash/Synth/Melocore band whose lyrics made very little sense, and were primarily drawn upon the lines of surrealist horror.

TERS: I sang and played keytar. It was more or less a hideous mutation. The actual genre was so strange that I can hardly describe it, but we were shooting for a Synth Pop/Blackened Surf/Power Metal/Psychedelic Hardcore Punk/Techno feel, with a synth mixer and lyrics that were purposely made to not make any real sense, and to be laced with obscene vulgarity with tinges of taboo subjects.

To quote sage from GTA: San Andreas,"This is so alternative!!!"

But yes, your bands are officially more alternative than grunge was before Nevermind was released.
