What rights should a sentient inanimate object have? Would sentience make it animate?
So would a sentient being have to be able to communicate comprehensibility in order to access rights? What if that were impossible? I mean, a dolphin may have some level of sentience we aren't fully apprised of yet, but it's not going to suddenly be able to write us letters in English or speak Esperanto...

So dumb humans deserve rights but only the most brilliant of non-humans can get them?
