Over what? What? The question makes no sense, but maybe I'm just tired.

The US is currently a bit too crazy for my tastes. If it cloned Canada, though, I'd be able to stomach going there.

It's a bit too religious, conservative, and right wing for my tastes.

Canada, however, is a social democracy. I love social democracy.

Well yes, despite what the Conservative party is trying to do, we're a very progressive country

That's the best part. Even the most 'right wing' parties in Canada can barely set the country back.

Well, they just repealed our long-gun registry, and they have a private members bill about banning Abortion coming up

It will, the Conservatives have a majority, the Libs number some 30ish MPs and the NDP has a large core of Roman catholic MPs, but the common people are pissed at this, and with elections years off. The people are going to take to the streets massively if this passes

If this passes.... It will be another Vancouver, in every city and large town, for weeks if not days, and that's not even if they try to get rid of gay marrige.... (if it does I know I ,for one, will be breaking out the black clothes and bandanna) even my Conservative friends want to keep abortion around

I'm going to assume Alberta is the Texas of Canada?

I'm personally going to immigrate to BC. Specifically Vancouver.

Yep. Right down to its main economy: oil.

I'm starting to think everywhere there's oil, there's evil.

Mostly, NDP too, occasionally Conservative, but not "hard' Conservative. In a few decades you might even see Green :p

Phhh. Barely to the left. And contrast that with a new hyper-conservative party going from nonexistent to 34% of the vote and a plain conservative party getting 44%.

Well I personally think your economic plan is on the right track, but it's heading to a Socialist idea. Cut unnecessary funding, yes; nationalize healthcare and go universal, not so hot.

I would research the interests of a Capitalists Society, as all of what America is. I think your on track but that's a terrible train car. (No offense)

How about Alberta becomes independent instead of Quebec?
